Three schools in the Granbury Independent School District recently named winners in a poster contest to advertise Campus Crime Stoppers chapters. The school-based chapters are offshoots of Hood County Crime Stoppers. They provide monetary rewards to students who give anonymous tips that help solve crimes. Campus representatives attend monthly meetings of the countywide umbrella organization. Schools that have Campus Crime Stoppers chapters and participated in the art contest are Granbury High School, Granbury Middle School and Acton Middle School. Winners will receive free movie tickets, courtesy of Driftwood Theatre 6.
